10pm coach to Merang Jetty was delayed due to traffic police checks at Beach Road. We were further delayed 1hr at the Tuas link due to small bus entrance.

10am reached Merang Jetty. Late by 30min for the 9.30am Ferry so had to take 12.30pm ferry. SPent 2-3 hours rotting at the jetty! nothing to do at all. So we played Big Two
Ferry trip was around 1hr 15 mins. We didn't have to jump into the water as depicted in the website photos! They have makeshift stairs now.
The first thing that hit me was that the beach was very beautiful! There were different shades - light blue, dark blue, greenish, etc. 
Lucky for us, lunch was reserved. Food was relatively good since we were SOOooo hungry by then. We registered at the Dive Shop and was told that we could have our first dive that day. We met Pan (our dive master) and started our dive at 4.15pm Very excited. Lucky thing was i rem how to set up my dive equipments!
Review of dive site 3 P. Paku Kecil: Poor visibility, marine life very much like Tioman. But saw one sand ray. But So??? 1/5

We had two dives in the morning and one dive at night.
Dive site 16 Southern Tip: First half of dive was very bad due to poor visibility. Then we came to a cave like structure and were amazed to see the top part like a chandelier in the sea, with corals and many fishes surrounding it. The dive took a good turn and we had a great dive. Eric and Ron had to be brought up due to low air. Saw a school of pomfrets! so cool! Dive master Dolla also showed us soem white caterpillar shapped stuff on some corals. He told us later that those were fish eggs.
Dive site 8 Terumbu Kili: Nothing much. Trainer Lee showed us some eggs only.
We had another dive in the afternoon. That was after lunch. We were sooo tired after a nap! and i was totally exhausted from all the setting up, trotting down the beach with a 10KG tank on my back, cleaning up, etc! so glad it was e last dive.
Dive site 6 Pulau kerengga: Great dive spot. Saw 3 big sand rays!! and a large school of young barrucudas. kinda scary but cool, they were like swimming in a queue and surrounding us. There was a shark under a coral and this dive master actually pulled me down to see it. I was frightened e first time and scratched my elbow. But the second time, i actually went low enough to see some fair and smooth skin of the shark.

Sun tan day! lying on the float in the morning. Joined the fun of some snorkellers feeding fishes bread, soak in the pool at laguna, jumped in the waves, slept on a hemmock!

Super long bus ride. Reached home at 10pm!
Interesting things about the resort stay
1) At 9am and 2.30pm the PA system will play some cartoon music and announce that "It's Snorkelling Time...Please meet at the snorkelling center with your mask and life jacket...." at certain hours (like 9am and 2.30pm)
2) Two BBQ nights and the stingray really STINKS
3) RM 1.50 ice cream was good!
4) Eric loved the ice blended milo (he drank it 3 times)
5) Re-capped my bridge skills which is as good as zero
6) Pierre only wanted to eat and sleep the whole day!!
7) Stalls closed at lunch and dinner hours
8) Our so called sea-view room had only one pathetic view of a small little part of the beach and sea!! luckily we didn't have to pay more for that room!
